Elias Gumpel
Elias Gumpel graduated from Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and subsequently spent the next 4 years as a small animal general practitioner in Houston, Texas. In 2008, he completed a 1-year radiation oncology internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, followed by a 2-year residency from 2009 - 2011, involving training with multiple well-known and respected veterinary oncologists and radiation physicists. He achieved board certification in 2013 and in October 2012 became the head of the Radiation Oncology service at BVSC, the first veterinary hospital in the Southern Hemisphere with a linear accelerator.
