Like so many aspects of oncology, successful patient outcomes for small animals with brain and skull tumours depend on collaboration between the primary care veterinarian, the neurologist, the radiologist, the surgical oncologist and the radiation oncologist as well as the anaesthesia team, the critical care team and the internal medicine folks. We can add to this list the team deriving valuable translational research findings. Learn what can be done, how it is done and what your role is in helping pets with brain and skull tumours. Learn about removing these tumours in cats and dogs, what is involved in staging and aftercare, what the prognosis is and what your clients who own these animals can expect.
