This presentation will concentrate on Lagomorphs and caviomorph rodents that possess continuously growing elodont teeth. Dealing with this specific dental anatomy necessitates special equipment. The size of those patients and their unusual dentition also dictates the use of special techniques such as occlusal equilibration, extraoral extraction approaches, removal of germinal tissue or protracted management of dental abscesses.
