Paedodontics is the branch of small animal dentistry that deals with the dentition of immature animals. Developmental, genetic and iatrogenic factors may cause damage to the deciduous teeth as well as life-long damage to the immature permanent teeth. This presentation discusses the causes and conditions that affect puppies' and kittens' teeth and how they may be treated.
